Understanding ring sizes

Ring sizes are typically measured using letters of the alphabet, ranging from A to Z. Each letter corresponds to a specific circumference or diameter, ensuring a snug fit that won't slip off or feel too tight. Additional sizing options are available on the market to accommodate varying needs.

Here’s a breakdown from our Head of Product Design, Kirsty Brown. "The UK uses a system of letters for ring sizes, the US uses numbers, and the EU uses numbers but it's a different methodology for measuring. The most straightforward way of ensuring your ring size is going to match up is to measure the internal diameter of a ring. This is the measurement from one side of the ring to the other, from the 3 o'clock to the 9 o'clock position, in millimetres. Different companies will have a slight variation in their sizes depending on whether they set their size by Europe, the US or the UK. Most people, if they know they're roughly a K, they'll generally fit into a US size 5.5 or an EU 50, but it's always best to double check across different brands."
